The amount off time it takes to become certified is less that most college degree programs-while providing higher salaries and the true potention of a global career.

Love that line.. :)

I'm looking for some advice. I have some experience with web development and landed an IT helpdesk job with a company that is starting to train its employees with the Cisco training system. Is there any source that would help me get a head start or give me an introduction to the field?

Unfortunately our college curriculum did not acquire us to have our own cisco training. Some schools do. And I think we should have had that. Now I wanted to enroll and see if networking is where my career path is heading now. I've been encourage with these post. thank you!

I've talked to some cisco experts about this and they said that a course on a cisco program will be alright for them as long as the students attended at least one whole course. At least in that way, they are sure that the students really understand something about cisco and IT management.

I'm really interested in this certification. I am hoping to land an IT contract jobs in London and I believe this would boost my application and my resume.
